Skill Development Training
Radio Vishwas has consistently aimed to empower women in various ways, including providing free tailoring classes for women residing in slum areas. As part of this initiative, we facilitate skilled instructors, sewing machines, fabric, and stationery for training sessions. Over a span of three months, the women are trained in stitching a range of garments such as blouses, baby dressing sets, kurtas, and salwars. This project has enabled these women to achieve financial independence, as they now accept home based orders or secure employment at clothing factories, contributing to mass production. These classes were held in slum areas of Nashik such as Aanadvalli, Milind Nagar, Khutwad Nagar, and Bharat Nagar. This is an ongoing project will aims to target 150+ slum areas of Nashik.
